The Obersalzberg area has several miles of tunnels. Regrettably few of these are open today, however you can get a glimpse into the tunnels at Dokumentation Obersalzberg and the Hotel zum Turken. The bunkers are the Hotel zum Turken are far better than those at Dokumentation Obersalzberg, although the Turken bunkers require the descent of a spiral staircase, and the Dokumentaion Obersalzberg have far better accessibility.
In the photo below you can see the tunnel construction methods. The black material is a liner between the rock and bricks, to provide some degree of water proofing.

This is an emergency exit for the Obersalzberg bunker system. It is located just across the road from the Hotel zum Türken, slightly further up the hill (towards Hotel Intercontinental).

For an idea of location, you can see the bridge in both the picture above and below.

There is another emergency exit located near to the Obersalzberg coal bunker.

Hi Martin,
I created a map, you can find it here. Unfortunately I never got around to fully finishing these pages.
Thanks for your comments.
