Memorial to the visit of James Hendrix on 11th December 1999. On the night of 26th December 1944 Hendrix captured two enemy artillery gun crews, allowed wounded comrades to be evacuated, and then rescued a solider from a vehicle. He was later awarded the Medal of Honor for these accomplishments.
