Le Blockhaus d’Eperlecques was a V2 rocket site, and is situated in the Nord Pas-de-Calais.

Various military hardware outside.

I believe this is a small bunker for protecting guards.
The blockhouse itself.
Pipes going into the structure, I believe that these were for the supply of liquid oxygen.

The allies caused significant damage by bombing the site, ensuring that no rockets were ever launched from here.

Bags of concrete that were never used; they got wet and set solid.
A V2 rocket inside the blockhouse.

Abandoned machineru inside the blockhouse (I seem to recall that this was related to the liquid oxygen, but corrections appreciated).

View up a V1 rocket launching ramp.

Nice set of photographs Chris.
Brings my visit to the area a few years ago, all flooding back!
Kind regards from the sunny Costa Blanca.
